Drunken UCSC student hits, kills cyclists, CHP says.
How hard is this to understand? Driving drunk isn't about you, it is about the people around you and the incredible danger you pose because of your impaired abilities.
Yes, most of the time nothing happens and you get home safely.
But not this time, this time the 19 year old student struck and killed a cyclist. And that pretty well puts an end to his days of freedom. All because he wouldn't or couldn't sleep off his buzz where he was.
Rule #62 is Don't drive drunk, the risks far outweigh the rewards.
