Let's lay the scene out. A man has been recently discharged from the hospital because of a hepatitis infection (no mention of the type). His wife is tired of having to carry the whole load and wants him to help out more. He tries but is still recovering from a serious illness. His wife gets tired of his "bullshit" and throws a glass vase at him, misses, makes a mess, a BBQ gets shoved over a few times and then she runs and gets her gun.

And, by that time she was too worked up to not take a shot.

"Police spoke to Roth and she admitted that she “blew up” at her husband, and that her anger was “too far gone to resist” using the gun. She said that she “wanted him to pay.”
Court documents said that Roth “doesn’t think she did anything wrong and she was well within her rights because of how (her husband) was reacting and she was so pissed off.”

Not just within her rights, Well Within Her Rights! That's right, she felt perfectly justified in using lethal force against her recovering husband because her anger was to such a degree that it was alright. Which is, of course, to say, crazy people should NOT be allowed to possess firearms and anyone stupid enough to justify attempted murder over lack of help with chores is clearly too stupid/reactionary to own a weapon.

So, what's happened since? Starlene Roth, the angry shooter wife, has been arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder and is being held on $250,000 bail. Here's a guess that maybe she now wishes she'd been a little more forgiving to her husband as he recovered from his illness, she's got years and years to think about that one.

Richard and the two Roberts like to spend their free time wandering about in the deserts of Arizona "hunting" drug smugglers while armed to the teeth.

And when Richard and the two Roberts came across two deputies, they used their super slueth powers and decided these cops were actually drug smugglers dressed up like cops.

And, when ordered to lower their weapons (i.e. comply with a legal order from an authorized law enforcement agent), they refused.

And, once backup arrived, the trio of dipped in shit "patriots" were arrested. Malley was booked for aggravated assault, no mention of charges for Crimes and Deatherage.

Seriously, these guys think they're doing something worthwhile by roaming the Arizona countryside armed and ready for trouble in case they find some to stir up.

These are the exact kind of people who should NOT have weapons available to them. Richard Malley has no business breathing anymore, he pointed a loaded weapon at a cop and refused to stop because he "knew" more than the cops. He's damned lucky he's a white man or he'd be a dead man right now.

#401 Life Is NOT a Videogame and You Are NOT a Hero

Orange City Walmart customer shoots at suspected shoplifter and hits his car along with two other cars and, thankfully, no children.

Okay, so here's the thing, shoplifting ISN'T a shootable offense. And this dude with the gun wasn't a cop, wasn't in danger and had truly no business drawing and firing his weapon. Which is why he's been arrested and charged with a bunch of crimes when he thought he was going to get a medal and the key to the city and hot chicks.

Um no.

A couple of things, one, Jose Martinez is not going to get away with this. Joe Martinez might. Joe Martin would be alot more likely to get away with this but Jose Martinez? Yeah, fuck no. Sorry but this is the current state of affairs in the US. A shitbag like George Zimmerman hunts down and murders a 17 year old black kid and gets bail, a black mother shot into the air to defend her home from armed intruders injuring no one and faces up to 20 years behind bars? Why? Because George Zimmerman has a judge father and is half white. The mother? Sorry, she's black and poor and how dare she try to protect herself and her children from armed intruders and not even hurting anyone in the process.

And the shoplifter happened to be a black man. The crux of the issue is that Jose is asserting that the shoplifter was driving his car towards him in an attempt to harm him. The reality, from eyewitnesses (and Walmart shoppers, dumbasses) is that Jose chased after the shoplifter's car shooting his gun wildly and even tried to open the passenger side door while the car was moving. Jose Martinez did everything possible to put his own dumb self in danger. Why? Because he had a gun and was just stiff with anticipation to use it to fight crime or some bullshit machismo fucktard mentality.

This is the natural result of insane gun laws like Stand Your Ground. This is the same law used as a (weak ass bullshit) defense of some asshole fat white dude not putting up with some kids playing their music too loud in their car at a stoplight so he just opens fire on them and kills one. Seriously? A kid's life is worth that little to you that you can't put up with some bad music for a minute or two?

#400 Just Keep Your Dumb, Drunk and Over-Armed Ass At Home

Here's a thought. If you're going to drive around with unregistered illegal guns and an assortment of other weaponry in your car in addition to not one but two open alcohol containers (a beer and a gallon of rum, mmm, rum by the gallon screams deliciousness to me) then perhaps you want maybe not drive drunk.

Or not bring your arsenal with you out while drinking and driving. But this is pretty much exactly what Eileen Holland of Watsonville decided was a great idea. She got pulled over 3:30 in the morning for driving erratically and her bad morning got much worse quickly.

I'm sure she had her reasons for being out driving drunk and armed to the teeth but I'm also pretty sure her reasons all suck and she's a danger to society as well as herself. Just stay home if you want to get all wasted and walk around your house with your weapons strapped to your body so you can pretend you're a badass. Just stay off the damned roads with your dumbass drunk self.
