A man on his honeymoon in Rome with a rare and rather dangerous form of Tuberculosis disregarded health officials telling him to turn himself in for isolation and treatment.
Instead, he got on an airplane and exposed a few hundred people to his disease.
Tuberculosis usually affects the lungs, and can lead to symptoms such as chest pain and coughing up blood. Caused by germs that are spread from person to person through the air, it kills nearly 2 million people each year around the world.I fully expect anyone that actually gets sick to sue the bejesus out of him. And win.
This guy's incredibly selfish behaviour put a whole bunch of other people at serious risk for their lives. He should most definitely be held accountable. Yes, even though the Director of WHO says the risk is small, it is not zero. Precautions could have easily been taken if he'd just removed his head from his own ass.
Rule #69 is Don't Go Flying When You Are Carrying an Airborne and Dangerous Disease.
