3 Charged After Freshman's Alcohol Death
It happens every year or so in different parts of the country. A college student dies from alcohol poisoning during some party week, pledge drive or some other collegiate event.
And its avoidable in every single case.
The kid died from a BAC of .38 percent, almost five times the legal limit. Which means little in this instance since the legal limit doesn't apply to underage drinkers and he wasn't driving. But he was absolutely drunk as a skunk and had no business continuing to drink.
