Tornado victims billed for cable damage
Time Warner Cable decided to send bills out to tornado victims to see if they could rub a little salt in people's wounds. These are people who lost somewhere between some and everything they owned in a tornado. And now the cable company wants to charge ridiculously high fees for their equipment that got broken in the disaster.
Two thousand dollars for five receivers and five remotes that were nine years old. That's some impressive value retention.
