#152 Don't Steal (Porn or Anything Else) from Clients

The Geek Squad's ongoing porn problem.

If you take your computer in to the Geek Squad for repairs then you should expect them to not only peruse your files but to make copies of anything they feel like copying, including private files and porn you might have stored on the machine. Not only theft but redistribution of those stolen materials amongst other Geek Squad wankers.

And, because the mainstream media has largely ignored the revelations, the company's founder, Robert Stephens, does not believe the situation merits any plans to address the thefts. If and when the mainstream media gloms onto this then the Geek Squad is going to get badly beaten up for this.

Especially since they knew about it and did nothing. I wasn't planning on using Geek Squad before and now there's absolutely no chance I'd let any of the horny little thieves near any of my computers, not because I store porn on them but because I do store private files and have no interest in hoping some random tech doesn't see fit to steal them.
