#160 Don't Steal Your Employees Tips

$100 million tip for Starbucks servers / Judge says baristas shouldn't have to split take with bosses which makes complete sense to me.

What is a tip?

An additional compensation given at the customer's whim for good or excellent customer service.

Where in there does the manager or boss have anything to do with it? By what mental jiggery did they think that forcing hourly workers to share tips with their bosses was okay? I'd have walked out.

But I don't go to Starbucks anyway, over-priced coffee with pretentious names and a generally aura of wankery about the places.

Rule #160 is Don't Steal Your Employees Tips
