Pilots in India often fail alcohol tests with around 50 pilots a year getting grounded for drinking in the 12 hours previous to their taking a flight.
What we've got here is a failure to understand how incredibly dangerous and self-centered these drinking pilots are. They aren't driving themselves home after one too many at the pub. They're flying a plane full of hundreds of people who's lives depend on the pilot's ability to perform his job.
If you can't lay off the bottle long enough to do your job then you're in the wrong line of business and perhaps you should open a bar.
Rule #192 is Don't Fly Indian Airlines
