#215 Don't Gamble Offshore

Poker site cheating plot a high-stakes whodunit with famous poker douchebag, Phil Hellmuth, in the mix.

UltimateBet.com has come forward with news that its players have been victimized by a long running cheating scheme.

An interesting aspect to this disclosure is that the cheating was discovered by the players and reported to the company. Some had felt that some players were winning far more than they had any right to so they started to investigate things statistically. And they were right, the scam apparently allowed some insider players to look at other player's "hole" cards that are normally kept hidden.

One, I wouldn't do business with any company fronted by Phil Hellmuth. He's an asshole, a tool and a whiny little bitch.
Two, gambling online with companies outside of the US means you have little legal recourse if you are scammed.
Three, just say no to Phil Hellmuth in general.

Rule #215 is Don't Gamble Offshore or Do Any Business with Phil Hellmuth
