Motorcyclist fleeing from CHP hits bicyclist in Berkeley

The CHP had already called off the pursuit because of the danger posed to bystanders but the motorcycle sped on, collided with the biker and really caused her some serious harm before escaping.

Now, instead of a speeding ticket, he's facing serious jail time for a whole laundry list of charges that will include attempted manslaughter most likely.

Here's the thing, if you're speeding and the cops catch you, pull over and take your lumps. It'll be alot cheaper and less dangerous and stupid than trying to run and either killing yourself to avoid a $200 ticket or causing serious harm to someone else.
