#228 Don't Pretend to Be Disabled When You Are Competing in Marathons and Triathlons

Ex-S.F. firefighter's workers' comp problem

Christina Hijjawi was a firefighter who says she got hurt on the job and then proceeded to collect $140,000 in disability payments. The only problem is that she was also competin in marathons and triathlons around the world.

Hard to really claim a disability when you're competing in such high level and intense competitions.

Its people like Christina that defraud worker's comp and make life just a tiny bit harder on the rest of us. At least she'll be in great shape so she can run away from the mean girls in prison.

Rule #228 is Don't Pretend to Be Disabled When You Are Competing in Marathons and Triathlons
