#332 Do Not Fake a Hostage Situation as a Marketing Stunt

Two arrested in Dell marketing stunt

Two marketing genuises, Bryan Chester and Daniel Rawso, thought it would be a good idea to pretend to take an office of 400 people hostage as a great way to introduce a new product from Dell that allows plugs into their Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Only they didn't tell anyone else about their really, really stupid plan and the people, quite naturally, freaked.

They are lucky that no one got hurt and that they didn't get shot when the cops stormed the building.

And both Bryan and Daniel now face misdemeanor charges of Interfering with Public Duties and Deadly (Stupid) Conduct for their very, very poor judgment.

Rule #332 is Do Not Fake a Hostage Situation as a Marketing Stunt
