#372 Acting from a Place of Anger Can Backfire Badly on You

Buffalo Wyoming High School football coach Pat Lynch
Coach Jerkface gets his JERK on.

Wyoming coach resigns after forcing offensive survey on players

Coach Pat Lynch thinks the best way to motivate his high school football team is to compare them to women and gay people. He forced his team to fill out a survey that would allow each player to mark why they failed to play well. Responses included: Because I'm a little bitch, Because I have woman like hormones, Because I am queer.

This guy forced some high school kids to fill out this survey in the twisted hopes that it would motivate them to play better. Or perhaps just not suck as much as they did and make Coach Jerkface look like a bigger jerkface than he already does (which is a pretty HUGE jerkface).

To say what he did was inappropriate is an understatement. But, for some ridiculous and twisted reason, Pat Lynch remains at the school as a....brace yourself.... guidance counselor. What kind of wrong headed thinking allows this guy to keep a job around kids when he has shown such incredibly poor judgment already? What kind of crappy advice is he giving to any kid that meets with him? "Don't be such a bitch" "Maybe you can ask your doctor for some man hormones to off set all those woman like hormones you appear to have in you."

Really? This guy shouldn't be advising cockroaches on how to skitter much less teenagers. Doubly so because he seems to have a pretty hateful streak towards gay people and a tenous grasp on not flying off the handle like the douchenozzle you are.

This rule will be a hard one for ol' Pat Lynch to avoid breaking since he appears to act from a place of anger more often than not.

#320 Sigh, Don't Throw Your Child Into Traffic

Man hurls toddler into traffic.
...saw a man later identified as John Taylor Jr., 21, yelling in the middle of Fifth Avenue near East 15th Street around 5:40 p.m. Saturday.

Taylor then picked up a toddler on the sidewalk, shook her violently and then hurled her into traffic, where she was run over by a vehicle, police said.
There's really not much more to say here, John Taylor Jr., has anger issues and dealt with them in close to the worst way possible. It is my fervent wish that John Taylor Jr. never ever be allowed near his child or anyone else's children ever again. Or just lock this loser up forever and be done with it.

And when he was confronted by an off-duty cop, he started to fight with him and kept fighting when regular cops showed up. Seems like a wonderful human being.

I know the hardest thing to do when you are furious is to take a step back, breathe a little bit and try to regain one's perspective. But if he'd done that then his daughter wouldn't have been taken from him, he wouldn't have gotten beaten up by the cops and he wouldn't be facing some pretty serious charges (resisting arrest, battery on a police officer and child endangerment).
