George Vera weighs a robust 600 pounds and was able to secrete not a tiny derringer but a full sized 9mm AND two magazines. The article does not state whether he was also hiding a small cache of food being slow cooked by his body heat.
They don't say what this poster child for 20 something diabetes and heart disease was arrested for but I somehow doubt it was for parking tickets.

Granted, he has a medical condition that made him insatiably hungry which led to his morbid obesity. But still, you don't think there's a problem when your weight shoots right past 500 pounds?
At what point do you seek help? Was he waiting until he hit an even 1000 pounds, a half a freaking ton?
The medical people had to cut a hole in the side of his house to extract him and put him on a flatbed trailer to take him to the hospital. I have sympathy for the man but that sympathy has limits. Jeez, 900 pounds is more than five of me!
